Training objectives:

– Students will learn about the effects of substance abuse in the workplace, society and the individual.
– Students will learn the in’s and out’s of the drug and alcohol testing process.
– Students will learn about the most common substances of abuse and the short and long term effects of their use.
Special notes:
FMCSA: Any trucking company with more than one employee – the supervisor or “non-driver” of the two needs to take this training at least once – as soon as possible. Meets the Supervisor training requirements of DOT 49 CFR Part 382.603 and includes training on how to recognize the signs, symptoms and performance indicators of drug abuse and alcohol misuse. This training is designed to enable a supervisor to determine whether reasonable suspicion exists to require testing.
FAA: Any supervisor overseeing employees performing safety sensitive duties must take this course at least once and repeat every 12-18 months thereafter.

CAN YOU START THE TRAINING AND FINISH AT A LATER TIME?
Yes. Our training consists of 10 lessons. As they complete each lesson they can pick up where they left off.
HOW DO I ENROLL A LARGE NUMBER OF EMPLOYEES?
Simply call us. It’s generally easier for larger clients to simply provide us a spreadsheet of names of those who need registered and let us import them. In addition, if you have your own LMS we can provide our files for use in your system and you can enroll them through your own system.
